Regional Institute of Management and Computer Technology is committed to provide career oriented educational programs at UG / PG level. Currently Regional Institute of Management and Technology, Mandi Gobindgarh offers following full-time campus-based Post Graduate Programmes and Under Graduate Programmes in Computer Application and Business Administration. The details about these programmes are given below:-



Masters in Computer Application (3-year Full-Time)

Masters in Computer Application (MCA) is a broad based program aimed at providing in-depth understanding to students in technical, human and conceptual skills.The education methodology includes lectures, discussions, cases, self study, field projects, simulations and other learning tools to ensure that students master not only the basic tools and theories, but know-how to real-life professional experience.


Eligibility


Programme Structure

The program covers 27 courses spread over 3 years in 6 semesters. Students are also required to undergo one industrial training assignment of one semester.


Elective

The students are encouraged to choose 7 courses as electives from three elctives I, II and III. Students have the flexibility in choosing more than one course from these streams. All the electives will be offered subject to minimum number of enrolling for a particular elective.

Masters in Business Administration (2-year Full-Time)

Masters in Business Administration (MBA) is a broad based program aimed at providing in-depth understanding to students in technical, human and conceptual skills. The education methodology includes lectures, discussions, cases, self study, field projects, simulations and other learning tools to ensure that students master not only the basic tools and theories of the business, but can apply business know-how to real-life professional experience.


Eligibility

A recognized Bachelors's Degree in any discipline of minimum 3 years duration with 50% and above.


Programme Structure

The program covers 27 courses apart from 5 courses of IT and English Communication spread over 2 years in 4 semesters. Students are also required to undergo Summer Training.


Elective

The students are encouraged to choose 6 courses as electives from Marketing, Finance and Human Resource Management streams. Students have the flexibility in choosing more than one course from these streams. Students have the facility for dual specialization also. All the electives will be offered subject to minimum number of enrolling for a particular elective.
